Spun Point and Unimog Ride

The club would like to say a huge thank you to Andy from the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust for taking the time to take our members down to the Spurn lighthouse for an after hours visit. This visit was made extra special by the rare opportunity to see a doe and her newborn fawn who was just a few days old.

Members enjoyed a ride from the new discovery center on the Unimog before venturing into the bush and onto the beach to take pictures and capture the beautiful sunset over the Humber estuary.

It was on the way back to the discovery center it was Andy who pointed out the deer standing proud in the long grass with the sun setting in the background; almost showing off her newborn to the members who had their cameras at the ready.
